The ClimateLine MAX heating tube is the key technology of the Climate Control system and contains breakthrough technologies never seen in CPAP tubes that allow climate control delivery and unparalleled comfort for the patient. The ClimateLine MAX tube includes a sensitive heating circuit, which is automatically controlled by the Climate Control algorithm to provide a consistent and comfortable temperature to the mask. Located at the end of the mask, a sensor measures the temperature of the air coming out of the tube. Unique to ResMed, this feature offers full control of temperature and comfort.

Uncompromising condensation protection

With traditional humidification systems, the air temperature decreases, as does the temperature of the air inside the tube. At lower temperatures, the amount of water vapor that can be retained by the air decreases and condensation (rainout) can form in the tube. The ClimateLine MAX tube maintains the temperature of the air delivered to the patient. This ensures that condensation is avoided even if the temperature in the room decreases during the night. By keeping the air temperature in the tube constant, the temperature control system can automatically adapt to changing ambient conditions to maintain a constant and comfortable level of humidity. Condensation is avoided without the need to reduce the moisture supplied.
