No, the AirSense 11 can be used without the myAir app. However, the app enhances your therapy experience by offering features like the Personal Therapy Assistant and tracking your progress. These exclusive features are only accessible through the myAir app, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
What masks can I use with the AirSense 11?
AirSense 11 is designed to be compatible with masks from all manufacturers, excluding masks designed for AirMini.

Does the AirSense 11 work without water or humidifier?
Yes, the AirSense 11 can work without water or a humidifier. To turn off humidification, go to the "My Options" menu, select "Climate Control," and set it to manual. Then, set the "Humidity Level" to "Off" and, if using heated tubing, set the "Tube Temp" to "Off" as well.
Even without the humidifier, you must keep the humidifier chamber in place for the machine to work properly. Alternatively, you can purchase an optional side cover from ResMed to block the humidifier inlet, allowing air to bypass the water chamber.
What is the minimum and maximum pressure delivered by the ResMed AirSense 11?
The AirSense 11 delivers a pressure range from 4 to 20 cm H2O.
Does the AirSense 11 AutoSet send data to my doctor?
Yes, the AirSense 11 AutoSet sends data to your doctor using its built-in cellular modem. Your doctor can also make changes to your machine settings remotely. However, your doctor must have access to the ResMed AirView program, which is a separate platform designed for healthcare providers. This should not be confused with the myAir app, which is available to patients for tracking their therapy and managing their device. Alternatively, an SD card can be purchased separately and inserted into the device, allowing you to use third-party sites to review compliance reports.
Can I bring and use my AirSense 11 device on a plane, and does it comply with FAA regulations?
Yes, you can bring your AirSense 11 device on board as carry-on luggage, and it does not count toward your carry-on limit because it is a medical device. The device is approved for use during a flight and complies with FAA regulations for all phases of air travel. To use the device on a plane, ensure the humidifier tub is empty and inserted into the device, and activate Airplane Mode. Please note that most flights do not have power outlets available, so ensure you have an FAA-approved battery. The universal power supply is rated from 100-240V, 50-60Hz and can be used without a voltage converter, but you may need an international plug adapter to make your power cord compatible with the outlets in the country you are traveling to.
