PAP machine prescription requirement:
PAP machines in Canada require a prescription to purchase. Masks and replacement parts do not require prescriptions and can be ordered any time.
Prescriptions can be from sleep clinics or family physicians. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
- Prescriptions may be submitted by:
- Uploading at the time of purchase.
- Emailed to info@cpapoutlet.ca
- Faxed to us toll-free at 1-855-571-7634 (or local fax 905-470-8205).
While PAP prescriptions do not expire, if your prescription is over 1 year old we require an "Acknowledgement Form" be completed and returned to us. This form is your acknowledgement that the prescription requirements have not changed since you received it.
Product Purchases
ResMed products can only be sold to end users residing in Canada, we do not sell them to other third parties or businesses.
All product descriptions are provided to CPAPOutlet by the manufacturer of that product. Therefore, we will do our best to clarify, but please be aware CPAP Outlet is not responsible for any inaccuracies or errors in product descriptions provided by manufacturers. We can, however, help you get in touch with the manufacturer as needed.
Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy errors and mistakes may happen. In the event of an incorrect price on a quote or order customers will be notified by email or phone, and given the option to accept the corrected price or to cancel the order.
Shipping Policy
All orders are shipped through Canada Post. Orders are shipped on Monday - Friday only (excluding holidays), as Canada Post does not operate on weekends. Orders normally takes 1-3 business days to process depending on the volume of the purchase. At this time, we only serve Canadian addresses and do not offer any international shipping options to destinations outside of Canada.
For shipping promotions that require a minimum purchase amount: Minimum purchase amount is calculated after discount(s), and before taxes. XpressPost and Priority shipping options may cost extra.
All CPAP machines require a prescription for shipment. Details of submitting a prescription are provided above. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us toll-free at 1-855-542-2727.
Returns
CPAPOutlet.ca will accept returns on any unopened product within 30 days of the original delivery date. A 10% returns processing fee might be subtracted from the original cost and a credit for the remaining balance will be issued. Shipping costs are not refundable. Please note that, because those products are essential medical equipment, any product that has been opened from its original packaging cannot be returned nor refunded.
To avoid returns, we make every effort to help you make informed choices when it comes to the specifications, sizes, and features of all items prior to purchase. As always, please don’t hesitate to call us if you have any doubt or question about your order before it ships. We can be reached toll free from 9-5, Monday-Friday at 1-855-542-2727.
All machines and electronic devices including CPAP, APAP, BiPAP, Humidifiers, Cleaning Devices and Batteries, will be Final Sale once shipped out from our facility. Returns will not be permitted whether the unit shows hours of usage or not.
WarrantyIf a product you purchased has defective materials or malfunctions, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to troubleshoot and, if necessary, replace the item under warranty. All warranty periods begin on the date of delivery. For all other non-specified products, please contact us within 30 days for further assistance.
•Masks and Accessories (including tubings, water chambers, cushions, headgear, and elbow pieces): Warranty period is 90 days. Please Note: ResMed only offers a 7-day manufactural warranty on all AirTouch Cushions. AirTouch coushions are recommended by ResMed to be replaced every 1-2 months. •CPAP, APAP, and BiPAP Machines: Warranty period is 3 years. •Exp Pro Batteries: Manufacturing warranty period is 2 years. •Medistrom Batteries: Manufacturing warranty is up to 12 months. For warranty claims, please contact Choice One Medical directly. •Lumin Cleaning Machine: Manufacturer warranty period is 2 years. •Zopec Batteries: Warranty varies; please refer to each individual product description for details.
